The Crazy Larry is much better IMO. Probably not designed for the stock clutch/autotrans though. It fuels more up top than the old BDDL and more timing across the board. It smoothed up my truck a BUNCH over the old BDDL, and dropped my EGT's 200deg, probably due to the timing. I would never go back.

What is a Crazy Larry?, and who makes it (besides the obvious) I am running a TST Powermax 3 stacked with a NADP Heavy Hauler, Lots of power but egt's are pretty high under load, Anyone stack a crazy larry with anything else? TIA

crazy larry and ppe excellerator were so close to call in a equal race, so in stock form or the regular mods no its not worth it.also the bddl or ppe stack well with the predator 2017, or the 2021 adjustable helped lots and egts were cool also.

Do you mean that the crazy larry stacks good with predator 2017 or 2021 or does the regular bully dog downloader stack well?

CLDL
I have it. I'd just about bet you that the reason it would be close to the PPE is that you don't have enough huffer to support the fuel being dumped and for the duration and timing that is being used. That's the problem with the CLDL vs the BDDL or the HOT Juice vs the Juice. I had the HOT Juice and Juice at the same time and running both stacked with the EZ the Juice outperformed the HOT by a full second. I have no doubt that is not the fault of the HOT but rather the support system I had in place in that I was running the stock turbo. I had virtually NO smoke with the Juice/EZ stacked and just tons of black smoke with the HOT Juice/EZ stacked. I feel it's just getting to the right mix. So I'm not surprised by the CLDL vs PPE result, but put sufficient air on the CLDL and I don't think you even have a race. My $.02.

Ok folks I run a Crazy Larry with a TST and that was not enough so I just put a hot edge box on last week and now it runs great and its time to get a dual disc cause it blowed out the factory clutch tonight and I mean it makes some some power I would love to find a dyno to find out for sure..
