back to Crazy Larry vs PPE, PPE is more linear and has more top end pull where as Crazy Larry is more down low. I also preferred the PPE HOT over Crazy Larry, even Scary Larry.
Also, PPE now has low timing tunes for nitrous or stacking....its more engineered for nitrous but can be using for stacking timing devices

this is more of a "smarty crowd" as you put it for good reason. Its not just the free downloads or the tire changing ability, or the ability to clear codes, or hide itself completly from the dealer once its removed, or the fact that the price is right from bob wagoner, but I've never seen PPe's, designers and engineers on here tryin to diagnose problems or giving out beta software to people to giv them a working test bed.

durasnack, the older version of the race tune was low timing for like you said nitrous or other stacks w/ more aggresive timming. But dan said he now has the reg. timming version of the 300/470 that hits a lot harder for a truck only running the ppe tune and no spray. I to wished the ppe guys were more involved in the dodge crowd. And even perticipated in this open forums, but that i know of they dont? Heck even on there own site there is a forum and last i looked there was nothing talked about for us dodge guys, i dont get it. Bottom line it performs great, runs hard, but.... lacks in great customer support in my opinion. There is a lot to be said though by getting always better than 20 mpg and and CAN get 23 if diven nice, and running harder than any truck that im aware of around my area, and ive run a lotssss of people. I could get it handed to me if i didnt pick my races well though, a stick truck just cant hang with a closely tuned Good auto truck from a stand still. I also go from a roll even slow as 30-40 just give me 5th or 6th gear and its on. Not sure i agree with the comment about the super top end but lacking in the lower, that seems where mine really shines the low end is awsome, pretty smokey though.

Adding pressure makes a major difference, I am not a fan of my crazy larry when the pressure is turned off. It does not impress me at all. But when I turn my pressure box on the truck flat runs! BD doesnt do pressure or boost fooling, so if you add those and make up what the BD is missing hang on! Ive got some serious traction issues with 35's

dang you all have alot of information!!!!! Ok as far as the tranny goes the reverse is right and up, nv5600? Also so the crazy larry doesnt have a rail pressure booster? I was told it already had that.?.?. I will change the pyro as well soon as I get a chance. I guess I'll prolly keep the crazy larry and just get a pressure box, after I get some injectors and modded cp3, I just need to get my clutch ordered now, still kinda stuck on which to get.??

well I will prolly push more then that down the road. I was prolly going to go exhaust manifold, head studs, injectors, turbo, then pressure box???? Does that sound like a nice order to go in so I don't **** anything up? Of course doing the head gasket when doing head studs. I think I'll go with the 3250 probably, just so if and when I go more power. Guy at southbend said I'll need ladder bars is this true or will it just help shutter??
