I would stick to Bully Dog, I am pretty sure you that you will be happier with the Bully Dog product. I think it just might have a little more in the programming than the PPE!

I say get a Smarty.

Wether the 3250 will be too much depends on how you drive(sled pull, drag race?) and how much power you plan to make. Its always better to have too much clutch than not enough. What size turbo do you plan on getting when you say Phat Shaft?

Smarty? don't know much about those. I don't really know turbo size yet i still have to get a clutch, intake manifold, intake, some sort of upgraded cp3 dual line kit and head studs... i want to have everything taken care of before i go big turbo. also i don't even really have a goal something that wont break all the time lol

I am running the PPE hot and am real hapy with it. I tried the BD scary larry and it was a good programmer but compared to the PPE I found the BD to be a little rough. THe PPE power delivery is pretty linear through the RPM's and smooth.

I pull my fver on the PPE performance setting and with the HTT super stocker I do not have EGT problems. With the BD without ever pulling with it I could see the EGT's climb a lot faster.

I would say PPE or smarty. I have never had a smarty but am thinking about buying one to try.

OK as far as stacking, can anyone explain some of that in general? I was told that i wouldn't really need to stach with the crazy larry. i do agree it is alittle rough when the power comes in and my egt's never go over 1200 but i also don't have a intake or manifold yet...

Do a search and you will find alot on the Smarty, I would be carefull adding all that fuel on the stock turbo, one spirt of no self control and you might get to buy a new motor as well. Do a search on dual feed lines as well, it might save you some money.

A dual line setup from the filter to the CP3? Or from the CP3 to the rail? Are you running 48lbs to the CP3?(thats a bit much for a stock CP3) If you run some heavy fueling software/boxes a modded CP3, and injectors with a stock turbo you will deffiniatley run some crazy EGTs if you let it, and yes that will melt the motor.

I would say do the clutch first, then some sort of programming(Smarty,Scary Larry, PPE, whatever..) then a turbo. After that you will have more power, and run waaaay safer EGTs than running 600hp of fuel on a turbo barley caplable of cooling 400hp.

the line kit goes from the fuel filter to the cp3. I was misslead on the fass system with the external filters thats why i am getting the line kit. I am running 48 psi not 48 pounds of fuel only 20-21 pounds of fuel....I think right now i am going to stick with my crazy larry, but now i am running into the problem of what clutch sb 3250 or the 3600??? I talked to a guy a southbend, he said i would need ladder bars because of my lift, and that i would get alot of chatter??????

Only 1200 on crazy larry? Is your egt probe located after the turbo? If so that could account for the low egt numbers.
