I have a 05 ram I just upgraded to a triple dog with crazy larry. It runs pretty good know but I have heared it is a tranny killer. How true is this will my stock auto hold up for a while? It doesnt feel like it is that much more HP than the extreme program the triple dog came with....

its more noticeable with tranny work. but its really not that impessive. i have it and am not to happy with the power that it really puts down.

my old ford would smoke like a train at 70 mph when i stomped it and the new dodge with "200 hp " crazy larry has almost no smoke at 70 mph.... will the trany hold up if i just keep it in the crazy lary setting for running around town?

your tranny is gonna take a dump on you a lot sooner than it should. You are pushing way to much power and torque through it. You should atleast get a torque converter and valve body if you plan on runnin it. The tranny is going to start slipping soon. Your flexplate could also die...if it does, its going to probably take out your converter and front pump. Id get a flexplate too

what is this silencer ring you guys are refering to? what good does removing this do?

The silencer ring quites the turbo...takes away that sing. Doesnt really do much but quiet it down. Its located on the intake side of the turbo. Its held in by a snap ring (sorta a pain to get out sometimes). If you want to take it out, take out your air filter box, disconnect intake tubing from the turbo, then pry out the snap ring. One side is cut so you can sorta wedge a small screwdriver in there. I use to, one to pull it down and another to wedge in behind it to hold it from snapping back into place. Take it out and re-assemble the air filter tube and box and you are good to go.

i was told when i bought my triple dog that it would adjust for my tire size among other things and so far the only thing i can get it to do is the pto rev up thing? is this only a feature for the 06's or what??? do any of you know about the diablo programer for the 05's i have heared they will do it ALL>>? and if so were to get one. I am not to happy with the bully dog
