With the hairline cracks do you end up with enough fuel spillage that is noticeable just by popping the hood?

I have an overwhelming raw fuel smell and the dealer said it's the #3 injector which was replaced a month ago. Last time it failed I never noticed a raw fuel smell, just smelled like a new oil change that wouldn't go away.

Mine #4 line busted today on my 3 hour drive home. Made it abuot a hour and noticed more black smoke than normal coming out of my stack and a guy behind me flashing his lights. I pulled over and bout the time I pulled over the truck died. Opened the hood and diesel EVERYWHERE!! It ran down the inside of the passenger fender under the truck all the way to the back of the truck. I have roadside assistance with me warranty so I called them and they towed me a to dealership. I dont know the dealership so hopefully they are good to deal with. I guess we will see.

Jeez... Thats scary. Couldn't that cause a fire if the diesel was spraying all over the manifold or anything else hot? What would cause a line to crack like that?

Waranty probably wont go for that. The #4 injector needs to be replaced too and I dont know if they will go ahead and put it in and then just let me put the line on. I guess I will look into it though.
