CP3 torx bolt stuck

I did my cp3 mod but the metering valve sticks when its cold so i was going to get some 2000 grit sand paper and clean it up a little but i cant get he t25 bolts loose. What is the best way to go about removing them. Can i drill them out and tap for new bolts? Would this be a bad idea, or does anyone have anyother ideas? Thanks Joel

try sticking the bit in the head of the bolt and tap it with a hammer(being careful not to hit the fca)this will usually brake them loose

i always try a small impact gun set on low just to jolt them loose, dont strip them before you get at or it will be tough.

I'm assuming from the drilling comment that they are already stripped. If all else fails try a small left handed drill bit you may get them to back out with out actually ruining the threads.

Allen sockets will (with some help ) go into the torx and grab nicely on a rounded one.

Since they are alu the the top striped. It actually twisted 4 t25 bits before it stripped. I really hope the allen trick works. Thanks again guys.

Ok only the top torx is striped so ill have to pull the break vac pump and try the vice grips way or find a allen that will work. The other two are not stripped but they twist the torx bit when i try and loosen them. Ive gone through 6 bits now three of two different types. Anyone know if there are any hardened torx bits? Maybe ill have to pull the cp3 to get at them, is pulling the cp3 a big job or will i have to take it to a shop? Thanks Joel
