The Arson kit provides essentially the same flow as stage 1 Cp3 which is about a 30-40% increase in flow.

Flow vs the DIY. Flow vs a full stage one. That's what I was asking when I asked if you know what you got. There's a lot to be said for great service and convenience and I understand and respect that. My question was of the technical nature, however. If a DIY is free, and a stage 1 is $550-600, is the arson kit giving you an amount of flow that reflects the $400? My original point in my first two posts is that if you're not going the free route (DIY) then, at least in my mind, it would be better to spend a little bit more to have a full stage 1 that has been developed with numerous hours on the flow bench to ensure the most flow possible within the constraints of a stage 1 mod.

For example, if we start comparing stage 2 pumps, it would make no sense to enlarge an area where fuel enters and then makes a 90 degree turn and is right back down to the same size flow passage. Yet this happens on pumps. So what does that tell us? It tells us that there was not a flow comparison done before and after to realize there is no point to the enlargement of the initial passage.

I'm just going to walk away from this thread now. I've already upset a couple people and said more than I should.

He won't be able to answer you here, as you can see he has been banned AGAIN from this forum.

Sorry! I thought I could leave this thread alone, but I cannot!

The above statement is as inaccurate as could possibly be. Each of these companies is modding a stock cp3. They are not buying a modded cp3 from some magic supplier and then putting their name on it. A smarty is a smarty wherever you buy it. An Hts is an Hts wherever you buy it. An HTS is NOT a goerend or DTT or ATS just because they are all 48re transmissions. Not all modded cp3s are modded the same way and therefore are not identical. There is a difference.

The arson kit is NOT the same flow as a Floor It stage 1 pump.

hoq is my statement inaccurate, cause what u are saying is excatly what i meant... i didnt say anyone was buying a modded cp3, iam saying that they are all modding them, and puttin there name on it. just like i exampled with trannies, HTS builds a 48re, and puts there name on it, same as ATS, they both are modded, just with different names....

ok, so i will question this like u started 1st in this thread....how do u know the arson kit isnt the same as a stage 1 floor it??? have u talked to Shane who builds them?? now, i aint on here tryin to start stuff, iam just wantin everyone to get the facts straight before they start questioning peoples mods...u know? thats like someone posting a "i did 850hp on the dyno today" one of the 1st post will be someone calling BS....when they should be waitin till they see the dyno sheet 1st...... it needs to be left up to "shane at wicked" and "Floor-it diesel" to talk and compare there cp3's...and go from there.....

If you read your own post, what you basically said is that it doesn't matter who you buy from because they are all the same.

HTS, DTT, ATS all modify and put their name on it just like you say, but they do not all do it the same way and therefore are not the same just because they have been modded.

Because I know specifically what Floor It does for a stage 1 pump and what no one else is doing because again, these guys have seen everyone else's pumps. Send a pm to OT OF HERE and ask him if his II pump was as good as his Floor It pump that he replaced it with. They are not all equal - period.

well, i see what ur talkin about, but in that case there, that was a mistake, if u know whats done to theres, that noone else is doing, cause if other people then them know about it, then it wont be long before other companies are doin the same as them then...u know... when it comes down to it, it was just the fact that u were sayin, do u know what u got for $400?? its just sounds bad u know... i mean comparing the $400 arsen kit, that is warrantied, installed by a pro, and proven...and comparing that to the DIY cp3 mod..aint even close...cause if u do the cp3 mod urself, and screw it up, its on u, and will cost more, and probally aint in any way the same as the arsen kit. iam just sayin even if i knew exatly how to do the DIY cp3, i would still spend the $400 for the arsen, just for the other benefits like i said... in ur view i guess u gotta look at it like this...."with ur floor it kit, and its mods, and its cost, is it worth it compared to the $400 arsen"??? later

What I do for a Stage one pump you have to go inside the pump. The Arson kit works! Its what part of our Stage one is, I can promise you that the Arson kit and our Stage one is not a 30 percent gain!
