I have the 35x13.5x20 cooper stt on mine. Ive got 40k and 15k of it is heavy highway tow. Ive rotated them once so far and they seem to be standing up to wear pretty good. They are quiet loud though. Off road they work good in the mud but you gotta keep them spinning or you float all over the place!! The 13.5 give the dodges a mean looking stance. Get comments on them all the time.On the other hand a couple of my buddys ran them(315X12.5x17) and they wore out in like 35k.I think they put out a bad batch over the summer.

They aren't as quiet as an A/T but they don't whine like a mud tire. I was in soft dirt up to the diffs today in 2wd and they just kept pulling and when I hit the mud I drove through slowly knowing I was gonna get out the other side.

Coming from Pro Comp Mt's, the S/T seems like it'll last longer and have better performance in all conditions. Lots of siping, more side tread, and a closer center tread. They clean out really well too and only $200 a tire, better than paying almost $300 or more for other tires in this range, I hope to get 45k+ out of them like the pro comps they replaced.

I put Cooper ST on my dually and I am really happy with them. I put about 30k miles on them and they might be half gone and that's highway and rough gravel roads doing some towing. I just wish I could get them in a taller tire.

Also difference between Cooper STTs and the Toyo was I was able to get the Toyos in E and the Coopers only in D. And there is no way these Coopers are going for 40K+. Maybe in the ST, but the STT, the mud terrains, are burning off the rims... And they are loud driving down the highway...

I was told that Cooper makes the tires for most of the specialty tire companies plus alot of the generics like Hercules, Mud King, etc. Slightly different molds, Different compounds for different wear etc. The STT's will be noticed on your truck....both visually and audibleyKerry

abc,

Your experience/opinion of BFG MT's and my last 200k on several trucks with them do not align...

To each is own I guess...

However, I will run XAT Procomps till they quit making them now...and will never look back.
