I have never personally ran them but my I sale them out of my tire shop. I think they ride very well and handle good but you arent going to get more than about 40000 miles out of them. mybe 50k if you rotate and bal. them every 3000 miles. I would probably not go with them unless you only plan on getting about 40k out of them. I would recommend either the bfg mud terrain which is more expensive but will last longer, or the cooper st. I know the st doesnt look cool but everyone I have put these tires on is getting 60 to 70k miles out of them. and actually if yo see them in real life instead of on a computer screen they look really good. Not to mention they are cheaper than the cooper stt and the bfg or toyo.

Just got the STT put on mine. I love the look of these tires. they look great.
Only have a couple hundred on them so I can't comment on wear. But the 325-65-18 came with 35 depth and the 35-12.5-18 comes with 30 depth. If I'm not mistaken.

STT is a mirror of Toyo MT tread pattern...great tire...wears a little quicker than the Toyo...but costs much less too....
I would take that over the ST or the STC...unless you drive a street only truck.

I'm just finishing my second set of ST's, got 50k km out of both sets, it's a good all around tire on gravel & pavement. I heard somewhere they are going to release about 14 more sizes of the STT in the new year, they don't make the STT in a 35" tire for the 17" rim yet. Going to hold out until they come out cause they look like a nice tire.

Running the STTs in a 285s right now on my Ford. Seems to be burning through these tires.. Though the price was good, the next set I'm going to get are the Toyos. I have had great luck with the Toyos and they are holding up well...

they do make the cooper stt in a 35 inch tire for a 17 inch wheel. and yall are correct the stt is a mirror of the toyo oc mt. The stt is also cheaper by about 50 to 75 dollars a tire. and rides just as good and will last just as long. the st-c is basically a commercial tire and is only made in a few sizes. The st is made in more sizes and last longer than the toyo or the cooper stt. I believe it is even a little cheaper than the stt also. none the less a great tire.

I think you should take a closer look at the Cooper S/T....it is far from an on the street tire(CQ). I wouldn't put a BFG mud terrain on my wheel barrow....no sipes, no stone ejectors, crappy side paddles. The S/T makes most A/T tires look like well street tires. They aren't as quiet as an A/T but they don't whine like a mud tire. I was in soft dirt up to the diffs today in 2wd and they just kept pulling and when I hit the mud I drove through slowly knowing I was gonna get out the other side. Most of these M/T tires are pretty but are not as functionable in all conditions. From sand to snow....it delivers. The STT is a very agressive mud tire and was on the market and available way before the Toyos were trickling out. I balanced mine dynamically this time and the most any wheel took was 52 grams..2 oz...some took none. The Toyos took 3 to 5 oz.
I got 100k miles out of my last set....towing heavy to the max on my dually and drag racing dozens of runs.
I just got another set and they will last me just as long I'm sure...Toyos are wayyyy softer and will last for half the time. I had 20K miles on my Toyo OC A/T and they were 1/2 done..

Yah the cooper st is such a good tire that when I am done with my toyos I will probably get 17 inch wheels to run them on my truck unless they make some bigger sizes for the 20's because right now they only make a small size for the 20's, I think it is a 275 or something like that.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy the STT if you were going for all out mud performance.....They have two 35" tires a 12.5 and a 13.5"
They start with 20.5 and 21/32 of tread depth. So they'll last well if you rotate every 3 to 5k miles to avoid scalloping under the weight of the diesel. Kerry
