I was kicking around the idea of adding one of these,any idea's on this?

Also I swear I have seen them but now I cannot find them,anyone have some links to some of the kits out there?

Can't say i've ever heard of this.. but the question is why? What would be the benefit other than restricting flow-- which would be bad.

 

Coolant/water filters are commonly used on larger trucks engines. Not so much for the filtering but for the chemicals that are in them. In engines with wet sleeves you will end up with pitted liners resulting in coolant getting into the oil. You can get the chemicals themselves in liquid such as Nalcool or Baldwin BTE and simply pour it into the coolant. Cummins claims that it isn't needed in the BT series engines but it can't hurt.
