Considering Smarty
Alright, I'm considering doing it, switching to a Smarty that is. I'm just sick and tired of the temps I'm getting with the HOT juice and EZ, I tow on a regular basis and I can send my alert (set at 1350) without even trying and I'm not even towing anything remotely heavy maybe somewhere around 6,000 lbs. It just seems like you guys with Smarty's aren't having these issues. And I'm not towing on a high level 3 on the juice and almost always 1 one the EZ.

I sell a lot of Smarty's to guys that used to run the Juice and loved it, but there is a noticeable difference in egt's for them when they go to the Smarty.
Give a shout to Madhat, he switched to the Smarty and I recall him talking about the egt issues he was experiencing before he switched over.

Not to hijack this thread, but how do the Edge J/A and Smarty work together? I am thinking about getting a Smarty as well but I want to put a fuel pressure and rail pressure gauge in first. I like the fact that I can monitor the different things with the Att. monitor but I also like the features of the Smarty.

You can stack a Smarty with the Edge, that's what the non timing programs are for on the Smarty. Some guys are very happy with a Smarty/ Edge stack while others prefer something different........ Opinions may vary

1st Post Need advice
Got a 2004 1/2 Dodge 2500 with Six series Engine & auto tranny. Wanting to put performance controller but concerned with dependability. My truck has 82K miles. Considering the Edge Juice, and 5 1/2" MBR turbo back kit.. Don't tow much only boat or ATV trailer. Looking for good dependability, and maximum power on occasion when i feel the need for speed. Can the Smarty stand alone or do you have to stack it with something else?
Recommendations on controllers appreciated & pros and cons

Why must you all make the Smarty so convincing? So if I were to make the switch, which I'm really startin to think I am, what could I safely run as far as the different tunes, beta, TNT, REVO ect. With my mods in my sig and an AirDog 150? I'm still runnin stock sticks, turbo and cp3. And from what I'm reading I can leave the EZ as a pressure box correct?

You can leave the EZ as a pressure box. With the stock stuff you have, I would run the regular Revo. You can load and run TNT, but you won't get the full benefit of it and you will be hot on egts.
