Compounds and PRXB??

So I got the Industrial Injection S474 over stocker in place as well as some fuel goodies in a while ago...... I really miss my prxb, so I want to put another inline one in.

Pacbrake says part number C11400 mounting and C40128 Inline brake is what I need.

Anyone have experience with compounds and an exhaust brake????

Am I good to go with it??

thans

You should be good to go with an inline brake..

I love my EB, which is why if I do twins it will be the A4K compounds, since they use the OE exhaust elbow.

And just as a note, your stocker is over the S474, not the other way around.

these are what I just ordered.

C40211 – the 5” brake unit itself
C10545 – the kit with the 5” mounting pieces – called the group 2 adapter and 2 v-band clamps

if you already have the compressor and goodies just need the brake itself and the mounting kit

Awsome... yes before I put the compounds on, I had the kit 44045, loved it.

I have already talked to Pacbrake and because I have 4" exhaust they told me part numbers

C11400 - is mounting
C40128 - 4" inline brake

Now where to buy???

II mounts the primary up top? Interesting, don't know that i have seen pics of that kit.. Piping wise I still think it would be stocker/S474?

Good luck with the ebrake. I am sure you will be glad to have one back.

Stocker stays exactly in factory location, and the hot pipe doubles as a pedastal for the 474 as well as another bracket. Im not sure how it all works as local shop says the drive pressure drops in half with two turbos??? but its a comman piece of pipe..... dont know........ in my mind it should be the same drive pressure only running two turbos, actually higher drive pressure as Im hammering more air and fuel at it............

Anyways then on the compressor side there is just a silicone boot that lets the 474 dump into the stock compressor housing into the stock intercooler pipe............ might not look big and fancy with all the pipes but sure does spool nice.........

Got off on a bit of a tangent there........ its about the PRXB

Thats not a bad setup! Drive pressure can drop as the wastegate on the stock turbo opens at a much lower boost than it did stock.

You should be good to go with the in-line. I also had to remove my PacBrake when I installed my twins. I am installing a 5" inline PRXB and 5" exhaust on my truck. I have the new 5" in-line brake and hardware kit, waiting on the exhaust system to come in, then it's just down to finding time to install it all. Lots of towing twins going down the road with in-line exhaust brakes and they all are working just fine.
