Commander wire taps

Commander wire taps
I installed a commander not long ago. I saw a thread on here about a harness so you don't have to use the taps. Has anyone got those? How much do they cost? Will I mess up the factory harness with the taps? It kinda worries me.

Taps suck. They can potentially allow moisture into the factory harness and cause corrosion.
Ballenger Motorsports can make you the harnesses for a low price.

I just got my coolant temp harness today...

Thanks, but what exactly did you order? I just see a bunch of connectors. No harness like you show in your picture. I would like to do the map and the coolant. I don't have the rail pressure yet, but if that requires tapping I would like one for it as well. I just want to head off any reliability issues.

Curious about this myself. Its been a while since I hooked the commander up. One for the coolant, one for the map sensor, is the another? Where do you tap for rail pressure? I believe I taped into the xzt for boost but if your not running a module what do you tap for boost?

As for taps, yeah they kinda do suck. But I've learned to always "seal" the tap with some dielectric grease or in areas where there is a lot of water oil, I use silocone around the whole tap and wire.
