I think the boost fooling only works on the electronic controlled waste gate 2004.5 and up but I could be wrong.

On my 03 SO model, the highest I have ever seen was 39 with a old smarty program on #7. When I am at idle, I am reading 0. I really have to rev the motor to see it change to 2-4. I think something is wrong with your setup.

The Map sensor can only read up to about 42-44psi max and you will never see any higher. You would have to get an aftermarket boost guage to read your boost if you produced higher numbers. Something is definitely wrong with your commander if it is properly set up. I had to send mine back to Quadzilla because both the boost and rail pressure read off on mine. They recalibrated everything and now I am seeing numbers that I know are in the ball park as far as my mods go. I really don't know how accurate the commanders are, I have had 2 replaced and had to send my current one back at least twice. If it wasn't for the great functionality and customer service I would have tossed it by now. I still am waiting for the real boost reader that connects to the intake manifold and will give accurate readings to much higher levels. It bypasses the MAP sensor completely.

I am seeing 10 psi at idle. I have checked every connection, done everything I could do to try to find a problem...everything else seems to be working great. Guess I will have to call them on Monday and see what they say...:-(

for sure are u on the right setting for an 03?i tried diferent years of truck on the settingsand i got diferent readings.are u on the latest version?there was an update a few months back.does your rail pres read "rail"or "ip"?if its ip then its the older software,do you have adjustments for fuel pres?and a choice of 40psi and 100psi senders?if so then its the new software.

I am on the right setting for the truck. I went out and played with it for a while today. I don't have the fuel pressure kit yet but will soon....I checked as you said and it does appear that I have the latest software. (It's only been in the truck for 2 weeks now and was brand new). I was thumbing thru the settings and found a setting for QZ Boost sensor....it's either on or off. I had it turned on as I thought it was the boost sensing setting. I turned it off and whalla!!! I have 0 boost at idle and when I goose it sitting still in the parking lot...I get around 5-7 so I think this may have fixed it. I looked in the manuals and it gives no indication as to what this setting is for. I would assume that they sell some sort of boost sensor to add on??? Anyway...I am not able to go drive it as I am at work today and can't leave the station but tomorrow morning I will have a better look at it on the way home. Thanks for all the help!!!

I never noticed that setting, but YES! It is for an add on sensor that it could read off of instead of the factory map sensor. I remember some guys with twins or modded turbos running in excess of 40 some psi asking for it because, like said before, the factory one won't read that high. Evidently it has different resistance values than the factory map sensor does. Glad you got it figured out!
