I read yesterday under the thread commander updates that a turbo timer is in the works for the commander. Does one have to wait for the new commander or is the turbo timer a program update that can be added to the commanders that are available?

The reason for the question is, I can wait to purchase if that what it takes to get this function but if it is just a downloadable update then it seems I could purchase now and download when it becomes available.

The turbo timer will require an additional piece of hardware and of course a software update.

You can buy your Commander now and purchase the Turbo Timer when it comes out. All of the downloads are free and will be on our website.

Quick one Quad, When you say "turbo timer", I believe you are saying your turbo shut down will be working off elapsed time and not temperature? I know there are two camps out there, both with their pros and cons...

When I say turbo time, I mean you can shut it down based on time or temp........AS long as you have a Commander.
