Commander A-pillar Mount - New Thread

Ok, we have some prototype pictures, but they are on the 98-02 Dodge Pillar.

I think these look sweet. The first ones we are building are for the 03-06 Dodge trucks. They will be color matched, so no painting is involved.

I think this style of mounting will be very clean and the Commander almost looks suspended instead of surrounded like most pillar mounts.

We are expecting finished prototypes in 3 weeks and if everything is on par we should have production in a month. So hopefully we can be shipping in 4-5weeks from today.

I think this will make everyone very happy!

Let me know what you guys think.

I would like an overhead Console hanger so that it could be just to my right siteline. I think that that would make it easier to see and operate while cruising down the road. Looks Good though.

That looks WAY better than the other one that was posted! I'm guessing you got your idea into one of the designer's heads? Great design!

Will the 3rd gens still keep the grab handle? Is it going to be a full pillar replacement or just a slip over piece that attaches to the existing pillar?

That particular part is for a 98-02 Dodge. It has just been modified to show it mounted with our Commander.

The 03-06 Dodges WILL retain the grab handle. You will remove the bolt cover just below the handle and the mount will slide over 3/4 of the pillar and go down into that hole. You then replace the bolt and put the cover back in place for a factory look.

Quad, that will do fine. Do we have any idea on a cost yet and will the pillar mounts be painted to match or just black?

That piece may push me to purchase the Commander and the pillar. I haven't bought one yet because of the lack of mounting options.

I like it. Way better than the other one.

I agree. IF I see a mounting solution I like I am pretty sure I will jump ship from my attitude and run the comander. I would love to have a boost, pyro, trans temp, fuel pressure solition all in one.

Ditto! An A-pillar mount that retains the grab handle on our '06 would pretty much seal the deal for us going with the the Commander vs the Edge Attitude (the fact that I don't have to get a module to use the monitor is a big plus too!)
