clutch can't take superchips-ideas

I have had my SC installed on performance for a tad over 24 hours. In 6th on the fwy, when the boost hits, the RPM's pop up, I let off, then it grabs. I will never sled pull. I can't cough up 1700 bucks for a dual disc. Tips?
Thanx.

I've got the same slipping on the performance setting. If you make sure your clutch is fully engauged before you roll into the throttel it's better. For sure the southbend with 13" flywheel and CON/OFE is the solution but I'll burn the the stocker for a while longer for now. You'll get the most slip in 3rd and 4th. I'd roll back to the tow setting but the perfromance setting gives me many more smiles per gallon.

BTW on thes rigs the best way to preserve the clutch is aways fully engauge before you hit the go peddal unlike a gasser.

Don't try to save money on the clutch for what it takes to cange it out make sure you only have to do it once.

I have been looking around clutch sites since I installed the SC, Southbend has a bunch of stuff for the G56. Mine is the NVG. I was looking at the organic, organic/feramic, and all feramic. Doubles are way out of my league right now (technically the sinngles are too, ha-ha).

I know I should turn it down to tow, but I just love the power. Today I am going to see how it goes inn 1st - 4th. If I have to be an old lady in 5th-6th, I will try to live with that. If slipping it a few times in 6th (probably a max of 4 times, and I let off right away) fried the clutch, I will have to buy a new one. I am hoping it isn't that bad.

Valair brand?

Thanx guys.

Mine started out only slippin in 5th and 6th on the higher settins ie tst 6/3 mp8 20%. Last night I smoked it pretty bad with tst 4/2 mp8 off. Its only gonna get worse and a clutch will be my next mod for sure.
