Clutch
Hey all, Just wondering if anyone has any guidance on what clutch to buy. I put my triple dog on the truck today, and I can slip the clutch pretty bad. I know everyone likes south bend. How much are they? On one hand, I want a really good one, but on the other hand I dont want to break the bank. Any suggestions? I pull a small 20ft travel trailer around once in a while, but really I want something that will handle the banks and the bullydog together(dragging) Thanks.

The most common answer on here will be southbend clutches. They are pretty pricey though. I am in the process of trying a luk pro gold in my 95 right now. Seems to have worked out so far but I had to redo a rear main seal so I cant give you an exact answer on it. The 95 has a smaller flywheel but the Luk has been known to hold 450-400HP, in my application, from my research. I would avoid any ceramics for towing. No experience with them but have been told this several times.

I cant recommend which clutch exactly fits your needs because everyone is a different driver but I would definitely recommend www.southbendclutch.com
I use their SLEDPULLING Dual Disc and its great.
