Cigarette lighter fuse?
My radar detector plug fell apart in the cigarette lighter port. I think something burned out because now the lighter doesn't work.
I checked fuses 1, 15, 38, 40, 41 according to previous listed threads here on DTR. Any insight from anyone?

I started pulling each fuse and checking each for continuity with a volt meter. Fuse #29 was burned out. New fuse now installed, lighter has power.

With a volt meter or even just a test light there's an easier way to check fuses than pulling them out. Just touch the exposed metal posts at the top of the fuse with a test probe, measure for power at both posts to ground if one post shows no volts that fuse is open. If both posts show no power that circuit is not being powered.
