Check out the 6" intake!!!
Pictures are a little blurry but what you think?
I'm not done with the polishing and have even thought of painting the intake white to match the truck but I couldn't wait any longer to try it out. The sound of the turbo whistle is unbelievable, without the silencer ring of course. The intake is 6" aluminum to a 5" adapter then into the stock turbo boot. Next step is the filter shroud, all aluminum.

yes it is an aluminum 6" elbow that I rolled down to fit a 5" piece of aluminum into it and then welded it up. Started with a 3/4" piece of plate and did some grinding on it to fit the 6" and then attached the air sensor to that. S&b 6" by 9" filter. Just over 120 for parts and a little time is all it takes.

Battery cable not as close as the picture makes it look....unless it wears a place on the cable and I hope the shroud I build helps support the intake a little better. Thanks for the opinions!!!

nice work! I built my own also and I like it alot better compared to the fitment of the tube on ones made by big companies. I run a 6" afe (stage 2 filter) and it whistles alot also
