Cheap lift? 2" leveling kit with rear block?

Just picked up a stock 05 cummins quad cab 4x4, I want a mild lift now, am thinking of maybe a 2 or 2.5 fromt leveling kit so I shouldnt need to spend the money on longer arms, and a 1 or 2 inch rear block, is this feasable? and will I need longer shocks? my truck seems to sit fairly level as it is already but I havent measured it at all. any input appreaciated!

A 2" leveling kit wont warrant you any need for blocks in the back, If you put blocks out back you will have an unlevel lift.

I think a 4" kit use a 2" block out back for comparison sake.

That's exactly what I did. 2" Top Gunz spacers, and then 2" blocks in the back. Works great. Gave me a little room for bigger tires and clearance too. I did have to shim my carrier bearing down though. It is unlevel, but I wanted it that way for my trailer. If it's level, once I hooked up, the nose will be pointed to the sky.

That's what air bags are for.

A leveled truck without airbags will squat and look pretty lame when loaded, for sure but I don't like the front lower than the back either. My truck is leveled, my dry tongue weight for the trailer is 1000 pounds,, the Pac Brake air bags keep things where they should be and with my Air Lift wireless controller it's simple to adjust depending on the load.

I have the KORE lift with 1.5" blocks in the back. My blocks were pro comp but I wouldn't recommend them as the U-bolts are not correct.

I would do maybe a 2.5 or 3" spacer and 1.5" or 2" blocks in the back.

Looks a lot nicer with 35s then just the leveling kit.
