changing output shaft how hard?
ordered a new billet output shaft and just wondering how hard its going to be changing it out. or should i just take it to a tranny shop

you need a press so, if you don't have that you may have trouble. I watched several guys that know the process well build 2 at the same time, in the parking lot at a track. I don't know that someone that hasn't done it before could easily do the same.

well i have the shaft already assembled in the overdive assembly with the bearings already pressed on but without the housing. Tritont hows your shifter working out

triton did you custome make that plate that took the place of the dash hole with the nitrous switch and other switches on it? or can i buy one from somewhere? sorry to hi-jack the thread.

To do it right you need to dissassemble the whole transmission and setup the drive train clearances with the new pieces in place. If it isn't done correctly there can be too much slack in the center thrust washers which will drop the lube pressure to the front components and the OD.
