Title says it all...can you use exhaust brakes with aftermarket turbos? I would assume yes but not sure.

yes and no. some turbos do not have a factory style/size outlet. example, the edge jammer turbo needs a special downpipe so a turbo mount ebrake will not work and you will need a remote mount, which are available. the sps62 i have fits the pacbrake prxb just perfectly.

would this depend on the size of the exhaust side on the SPS?

If it was me, I would call up PacBrake or BD and tell them what aftermarket turbo you have or are looking at buying. My experience with PacBrake customer service has been pretty positive.

If you use the US Gear D-Celerator it won't matter which turbo you use.

yes the exhaust outlet will affect the size, call the brake manufacturer and ask what size the brake mounting flange is, and then call the turbo manufacturer and ask what the outlet flange is.

It works with the ATS Aurora Compound Turbos (2000 & 5000). At least, it does on mine!
