can not / snap fitting at tank for fass urgent

can not / snap fitting at tank for fass urgent

have a hard time snapping the fitting at my fuel tank keeps pulling off .I took the oem fitt5ing off and the blue piece need help

Try pressing the tabs togeather while you are pushing the quick connect on, but it should just go on by itself. Try a couple of different "angles" should go on straight, but you might have it cocked one way or another.

Maybe try a little WD-40 inside the quick disconnect.

If that does not work you can always pitch the quick disconnect and connect the fuel line directly to the fuel module tube. Use two fuel line clamps. Make sure they are the correct size (small) and use two. You don't want to do it again.

When I did mine, it clicked twice when it was "in". After the first click, I thought it was in, but it came off...I pushed in a little more and it clicked again, then it was secure.

I usually clean the gunk out of the coupler with some penetrating oil and compressed air. On reassembly, I lube the seal with engine oil.

When I did mine, I did not use the quick coupling supplied with the kit. I ran the blue hose directly to the 90* fitting on the tank and tightened with a hose clamp. The supplied fitting has a tendency to allow too much air in the system.
