I have not done it quite yet. I have the rims sitting in my garage and im still trying to make a final decision, leaning toward yes. The pictures here that "06cummins" doctored up give a pretty good view of it. They are in my photo gallery now and hopefully when I post them here they will be bigger.

Here is without.....

Here is with........

Another view without......

and with .......

I like them, I just want to be positive that this is what I want to do. I can't "undo" it very easily if I don't. Any opinions for or against.......are welcome!

Also, keep in mind that since these pictures were taken last winter........I have tinted my front door windows, replaced my rear bumper with a black Frontier diamond plate, and painted my front grill black. The pin stripe will be gone in a few days too. So the black out is almost complete.

Just asking some friends of mine taking an informal poll...........some say don't do it because they don't black wheels........or if you are going to do it.....do the center caps too. Some have said they like it either way. Some say, go for it.

I am almost certain im going to do it........im just giving myself a little time to think it through. (sleep on it, so to speak).

TexasCTD, I was just hoping you were gonna get yours done before me. That way I can see how they look. I have not made the $$$ decision yet either.

The photo shop looks good. I am not sure I would go with the Chrome center cap. but that is just me.

The H2 wheels look good as well. I have these in the garage as well.

Last quote up here in the portland OR area was $25 per wheel powdercoated. SO I guess It is not that much of a $$$ decision, but of looks and time.

Yeah, im not really so much worried about the $25.00 to powdercoat each wheel. IM worried about the cost to replace them, if for some reason I decided I didn't like it. Give me a little more time to consider all the options, I will probably have them done in a week or so.

The truck's a little dirty, but here's what mine looks like with black H2's and 295 Nitto AT's and leveling kit not installed yet (can't find time to do it). Hope this helps, this is the cleanest truck pic I have so far or else I'd put one that shows the rig in better shape.

Hey TexasCTD, I personally think that an all black truck with the only chrome on it being center caps and exhaust tip would really set it off. I say go for it and leave the center caps chrome!!

That's funny. How did I know I was gonna get more commentary about the "17 year old?" I would, but she'd probably be pretty miffed if I posted all kinds of pics of her on here.

I do too. I have been showing pictures of my truck (with and without the photoshop) to some guys I work with. It's about 50/50. Some like it. Some say it will look like some sort of FBI/Army vehicle or something...ha ha.

Yours looks awesome with the H2 wheels.

the good thing about the center caps is you can have one side with them on and one side with them off. That way you get the 50/50 look. LOL

Any way you go, it will look good.

Where do you think we got our inspiration!!

Your truck is one of my favorites on here. Very nice.

In my case, it will be a slight twist in that im using stock wheels and not H2's.
