Im looking into getting a new cam and springs while im pulling my head apart, but I am looking for some input on which way I can go with it. Any info would be great. Im also wondering about some roller rockers, I know I have heard people talk about them but I havent ever heard of any place to get them. Oh yeah and im looking at going from my single SPS 66 to a set of twins while im at it. Thanks for any feed back yall have. Im also porting and polishing the head but im doing that work myself, no sence in paying someone to do something i know how to.

Everyone that is making over 1000hp it seems is running a F1 Helix 2 cam and F1 springs and injectors. Porting and polishing the head is just time...polishing isn't that important....once you start porting you will see how much casting excess there is and why some cylinders run hot...it was amazing how much you can take off just smoothing the inlet and outlets....I was able to use a small air die grinder and it fit into the intake runners all the way to the valves no problem.... I used a metal ball and then stoned it so that I could apply more pressure to make it smoother. Turned out great ....I had the head machined and then I polished the block deck to one thou over a 2 foot pure straight edge. Good Luck, Kerry

I run Don M springs and the schied cam and I really like the setup.
