Please share your experiences, pictures, and advice with the Kilby on board air system. If you have any suggestions for another system engine driven or 12 volt please share those as well.

VMAC has an EDC system but its costs are extremely high ..... like $10,300 USD. They're based out of Canada and it appears to be a fantastic system primarily used for servicing semi trucks and industrial equipment.


I can't wait until Kilby makes the OBA for the '07.5 and newer trucks.

Thanks for the reply, It seems there must not be many running the kilby system. I'm still considering giving it a try. With all the compressor failures that I've read about lately with the 12v systems I thought the Kilby system might be more reliable.

 

I have one on my truck now and I will never go without one again. It is unbelievable how much I use the thing. WIth airbags, filling tires, whatever. I had my own compressor so I just bought the mount kit and made my own tank and got my own fittings. My last truck had twins and I made the kilby work on that as well. I have many tools on the truck as far as winch or gear vendors, but the on board air gets used the most by far.
