Buying a turbo
I am about ready to buy a turbo for my truck. I dont tow much, its mainly for a daily driver. I have the Edge Hott stacked with a Quad xzt pressure only, airdog 150, and gooing to purchase 90 hp injectors. I need some info on what turbo to buy. I dont want it to be to laggy, and i want to stay with a single setup. But keep my Egts as low as possible, cause i am running the Edge. Any info would be awsome.

Well you have a bit of a problem with your plan. The Hot Juice already runs pretty hot. You want to ad injectors - more heat. That would require a pretty big turbo or twins to keep cool and you want to stay with a single. The problem with that is you said you don't want it to be laggy. I haven't researched the BB turbos much, but that will probably be your only hope; a big BB and hope it spools decent. That route is more money as well. A non BB turbo would need to be a 66. Your other option is to run a Smarty which runs much cooler than the Juice.

Your might also need to upgrade the cp-3 to keep up with the 90hp inj.'s.Is there a particular reason you want 90's?I ran flux 1's(40hp) with a 62/12 for a year and it was a great combo for daily driving and towing with some moderate play thrown in.Like omaha said,a turbo to keep things cool with 90's is gonna have some lag on the bottom end. With the Edge already being a hot running box your gonna need a turbo that spools quick to get on top of the temps before they start climbing.
