Buying a lift tomorrow. Need help ASAP
I'm coming into about $1,200 bucks so I think I will be ordering a lift/shocks/ and maybe a steering stabalizer if enough left over. I need to know if the lifts I'm looking at are worth considering. I'm looking for life, I don't want springs to sag after 20k miles. I just want something solid that will last.
First I've been looking at TopGunzCustom lifts. $780.00
Then there is superlift which is $1255 which would spend all the money on the lift
Then there is Tuff Country at $730.00.
Just looking at my options here, and which would suit me well.

Obviously I have the Tuff country 4.5 inch lift. It has held up good, but would be what I consider an economy lift. How high are you lifting? For the money you have it may take some of the high end lifts out of the picture. If I had it to do again I would have probably spent more money on a higher end lift that gives a little better ride....

6" lift. Sorry guys. I'm considering the topgunz lift. It's 780 for the lift and 288 for Bilstein 5100's. That leaves me at $1,068. Then I can also afford a front steering stabalizer and be right around $1,200. Then I can weight out tires. I've got some money stored away for those. The stock ones at 50k are starting to look like they need replacement in the next 10k so probably sooner than that.

I have no first hand experience with any of these lifts on our trucks just mostly what ive read and ive seen happy and unhappy on all of those lifts with the exception of the revtek and BDS (Big Dick Suspension). Last I heard atleast when I had my 1/2 ton all of BDS's parts were lifetime warranty. But thats been like 4-5 years ago.
