burnout problems

Sometimes when I do a brake stand for a boosted take off, it will only get up to like 10 - 15 psi and sort of surges. it has not always done this and I can't figure it out. ANyone have this happen? Any ideas what to do about it?

It acts almost like a rev limiter does, but I don't think that my rpm's can be very high at that point.

Fueling curve is degraded at 12 psi if there is no speed registered from the ABS.

Essentially it is defueling until you get to about 5 mph. Do a rolling brake stand and watch your boost.

Rockjeep,

Just out of curiosity, for winning the burnout contest, did they give you a new set of tires? I was LMAO at your video. I love it when you see the people ducking out of the way of your smoke cloud.... And the horn... awesome

Yeah what you say sounds good but I know what he is talking about with my Edge. Trust me I have no problem lighting the tires going 30 now but sometimes I can't get them going when on brake and accelerator.

It's the TM defueling.

Like the others said, let up on the brake so it rolls forward a little and then hit the brake again. You need to trick the ECM into not defueling. Once it defuels you can sit there holding it to the floor and nothing will happen. You can actually feel the power loss as it defuels too.
