bumper guard and airflow requirements
I'm in the process of building my front bumper "guard". The space below the grill and top portion of the bumper (which is swaged inward) seems to allow air across a portion of cooling fins. A piece of 2"x3" rect tube is going to run across this space. I plan on drilling 5 holes 2" in diameter thru the tubing to allow airflow. Do you guys think this is enough or should I drill more???
Maybe I'll take some pics if my explanation is hard to understand. Let me know.
Thanks
Tony

Not a bad idea. I'm working with a sawzall, hand drill and that's about all. I know I cannot cut it out that way straight and make it look nice. I do have 2" holesaw and will sleeve it with 2"od DOM tube. I may be able to get 9 or 10 holes. Alot of work but I'm limited by my tools and skills. Wish me luck.
