Bump steer is caused by the drag link and the trackbar not being the same length, or the trackbar and drag link not running parallel to each other.
When I had the stock trackbar and drop bracket on my truck, I didn't have any bumpsteer. I put a Thuren trackbar on with the drop bracket, and I was suprised at how much of a difference it made. It really puts the trackbar and drag link parallel to each other, where they should be.
