Dude, you need gauges!!! If you're running Crazy Larry any at all.....you should really stop now.
Spend the $250-$300 and buy some nice gauges....save yourself some headache down the road....
The Bully Dog PMT (Performance Management Tool) is the new downloader/programmer/monitor all rolled into one unit. It looks super nice as far as the interface goes....not sure how well it performs. Its kinda pricey as well....

So I'm guessing that the Bully dog PMT would be a good all around programmer because it has the gauges built in? I found it a couple of places for $880.00 and that would be about the same if you add gauges to a programmer. Do you guys think it will be OK with only a AFE stage 2 and 4 inch straight pipe?

Is anyone here running a PMT? I am very interested to hear how well it works. It certainly sounds impressive but I haven't actually seen one in use yet.

I know I'm a minority here but IMO gauges are not all their cracked up to be. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying they're not a good idea, however what good are they if you don't look at them? If I'm playing around the only time I look at the gauges (pyro for example) is when it's on the way down. Usually with the same reaction "wow it sure got hot that time". Redracer44 pointed out that he needed gauges before running crazy larry. In my opinion the biggest danger is the fact he's running crazy larry and a boost fooler with the stock turbo. When (not if) that turbo dies it's going to cause more damage than a few seconds of high EGT's.

i dont run crazy larry that often and if i do it is just to blow some black smoke at another dodge diesel and if i get on it i usually always stay in performance! my exhaust lowers my egts quite a bit along with a cold air . . . or so i have been told!
does just bogging your truck to black smoke like under 40mph raise egt levels?
