I have a dumb question. I just downloaded the new version 2.4.1 for my BDTD. I like the idea of being able to adjust for larger tires now and the speed limiter too. What is the purpose of the PTO function?

i think it is to allow for high idle up to 2000 rpm while in park or neutral

its to allow higher idle for cold weather or running auxillary items from your truck so you dont have to sit behind the wheel and hold the pedal down....

So it is basically the same as the high idle but it will allow you to idle the truck up higher than the 1500 rpm's with high idle.

It's there for and easy way for the 6spd trucks to have high idle. But I guess you could use it for the above 1500rpm range, not sure why you'd want to but hey.

The high idle feature goes from 1100 to 1500. The PTO goes higher than 1500 unless I'm mistaken. I have an automatic so I have the high idle. I downloaded the new version and was just curious as to the what the PTO was. Thanks to all the responses.
