I usually am towing so I have it on the tow mode but out of curioisty I put it on performance and little smoke, not much really. Then I put it on Extreme and couldnt get it to smoke. So my question is am I running out of fuel so there's no extra to waste or what? My dad's '06 is stock and smokes a ton over mine! I know the smoke is wasted fuel and lack of air just, heard that these are supposed to smoke like a coal train

 

I wouldnt say "coal train". Stack a pressure box on it and it will smoke more, or buy a Smarty.

 

the older powerpups would smoke some. Ive ran a couple triple dogs and they do ok, but from what ive ran the smarty will smoke the best. it smoked more than crazy larry on my truck. the more aggressive you go its gonna smoke. if you set stuff on high settings that means more fuel

 

The 03's don't smoke as much as the later models...atleast that's what I hear. I'm guessing the changes from the 250/555 models to 325/600/610 models is the difference.

Mine doesn't smoke much either

 

uh i had a triple dog on my truck before i traded it and if the vehicle behind me had automatic headlights, they would turn on.

Did you enable low end power?

 

BDDLs don't smoke as much on the 03-04s. Get a Smarty!

 

my 04.5 smokes like coal train for sure. makes everybody around me get a weird look on their face. and thats just performance. if its on extreme, i can't see their faces

 

how does the power feel?if your feeling some good power then great,your not wasting any fuel.if its gutless and no smoke then maybe somethings wrong.

my 07 megatron cab has a triple dog in it and well to me it smokes out a good amount just on the performance setting. only one time i had it not smoke on me ad felt like it was running stock, but i just reset the triple dog by selecting my truck again and turning off and on the engine and it worked.
