I just bought the triple dog and downloaded the crazy larry. I have it set on performance now and man does it make a difference. I was suprised of no smoke. I had a predator on my 05 and it smoked like crazy. I am not saying I want it to smoke but was just curious why it doesnt. It seems alot faster than my 05 which was a 6 speed by the way. Does anyone have any opinions on the triple dog and could you tell me if I should or shouldnt run it on crazy larry (which I havent tried yet)? THANKS

 

I have ran crazy and it makes me bit nervous, rpms get to high.I just stay with performance but with the outlook monitor its so easy to switch to CL I catch my self using it more than I'd like. But I just heard its hard on the trans.

 

i have an 05 with crazy larry and my bud just got it for his 06. mine smoke alot more then his. he also is running a stock trans. he doest beat on it often but it will slip his trans.

 

My truck smokes quite a bit on performance. It really increased when I put my magnaflow muffler on it. I leave mine on performance all the time unless I am towing something. I love it.

 

My truck smokes quite a bit as well on Performance but I will say my truck smoked more after I put on the Aero muffler (straight-thru design). Throw on a free flowing muffler and I'd bet you'd get more smoke...

As far as Crazy Larry...I still havent used that setting yet as I'm scared Performance is more than a enough power for me...

 

crazy larry is fun....but will smoke a stock trans. I have seen the burnt clutches to prove it
