Bully Dog Torque Dog

I bought my 2004 305hp from a guy who ask me if I wanted his Bully Dog Torque Dog controller. He said he would sell it to me for $125, installed. I believe he said it has two settings, 50hp and 90hp which I guess also boosts the torque. I am already running a straight through exhaust, no muffler.

Is this a good controller and should I get it. I carry a 3500lb Lance camper and pull and 3500lb Triton boat.

Thanks

I've got the torque dog on my '03 and love it. How many miles are on your truck?

Is it the old or new version? The old one did timing along with the pressure. We have one of the old ones on a truck that has made some sick power with 100 HP injectors and twins on a 305 ingine. TQ dog on 90 setting made 567 HP consistently at the dyno events.

I'd get it for sure then. Great price on it as well. They are going for over twice that on ebay right now. Plus it'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside when you look at your display and see that you're getting 25 mpg!! LOL... silly displays

Just make sure to take it off if you ever take it in to get warranty work done on your truck.

Woodzy, the interesting thing about that is, I bought the truck from the guy who is in charge of the shop at my local Dodge dealership. He had it on and took it off for the sale. Once he knew I was buying it, he ask if I wanted it. I don't think I'll have to take if off.

Dave- that's a tough spot then.. I'd still take it off if you ever have to take it in for work. Did he tell you it's ok to run it??

Mr. K- I don't know about the pup for these trucks, only experience is w/ the torque dog. You could make a new thread about this, I'm sure plenty of people would give you advice!
