With the bullydog downloader will the factory high idle still work. I'm talking about the one where you set the idle with the cruise buttons, I recall there were some issues when the BDDL first came out. I'm especially interested in the crazy larry program but don't want to lose the high idle feature.

Thanks

Just to make sure I understand, after you load crazy larry the cruise button on the steering wheel will increase the engine rpm to 1500????

Thanks

Besides the concern of the high idle, does the downloader still throw a code for the EVIC security system?

This is something I haven't been able to verify, but as I understand, ANY time the ECM is flashed (even at the dealer), communication between the ECM and the SKIM module is interrupted, causing a SKIM code to be set. My understanding to date is that it takes a DRB III to clear a SKIM code -- that is, an OBD device or the outlook monitor cannot clear this code. Thus, obtaining a SKIM code is a natural step in an ECM flash (whether it is performed at the dealer or via a downloader), but only the dealer can clear it.

anyone have any more info on this?
