Buddy/Triple dog version help (Buddy)

Buddy,

I just recently upgraded to your newest version for my triple dog. After plugging it into my truck, it said their is a new flash available and it is highly recommended to upgrade to this flash before continuing. I had seen this one other time, so it didn't concern me much. But, I got a new message on the next screen.

TSB found for tranny shift and battery charging. Choosing to continue will require a reset of stored values in your PCM. Press Y to continue.

What do I do? I am concerned about continuing without knowing what is going on? I had triple dog on this truck for quite a long time before upgrading to this new version. What do you recommend?

Thanks

If you continue on the Triple Dog will update you to the latest flash. We put the warning on there because if you show up to the dealership with the latest flash already installed and the key cycles reset with no proof of having the flash done at a dealership, it raises flags that a tuner has been used on the truck. If you are concerned about your warranty I would recommend having the flash done at your dealership and then installing the Triple Dog.

flash at dealer

Do I just ask my dealer if there is a new flash for my truck? It seems that would raise more questions from the dealer?
