Buddy doing my 3250 DD on Monday, tips to give him?
I got to my bro's shop to do my clutch this today (Sat.), and it just was not an option. I am going to have a friend do it. He did a good job on putting a Valair single in my 2x4, 2004, NVG5600 ($300). Are there any other tips I should give him on this?
My list.
1. 38 ft/lbs for PP
2. 95 ft/lbs for flywheel
3. I will tell him about the plate to get to the back of the DMH flywheel.
4. I found this tip on here from SB: "A suggestion when you get to that last inch. At this time you are bumping the pilot brg. If you draw it in you may damage the pilot because you are putting a lot of pressure on the inner race until you force it into the hole. Hook up the hydraulics and push the clutch pedal in. This will free the disc's and allow the input shaft to find center."
Anything else I should tell him?
Thanx.

I will probably do the hydraulics and remove the interior plastic around the shifter before I bring it in early Monday morning.
Any tips on that stuff will also be appreciated.
