between a rock and a hard place now. I wanted to do it myself, with all the hours of work, and being stuck 1100 miles from my house and shop, and the stock clutch getting worse by the day, I had no choice. I figured these guys would be alright, I mean its a heavy truck shop, they are all ase certified mechanics, so it should have been good. Too late now. hopefully my misforutune can be a good leesson to everyone else.
I will get them to eat most of the labor, they figured 20 hours of labor to drop the crank and replace it, and put it all back together. the only half way good things is that the labor is cheaper here than at home. On the other hand, I know at home it would have been done correctly, by me
