I am going to do the same, kinda, when my parts arrive, I am going to be taking a bunch of pic's while Jeff rebuild's. I will post when finished.

I snapped my billet input two days ago while driving down the highway. I also use the Suncoast laminated plate.

Maybe nrussell and I got into a bad batch of shafts.

Have you talked to Garmon about his Ultimate Transmissions? He's building them in house using Opies stuff. And Id get his advice as he beats the tar out of his.

My Opie shaft just came in and WOW. I'm so excited to get this this in and drive the truck again. The machine work on this is impressive. I'm looking forward to may madness.

I like driving it more. But would like to be able to fix it in my driveway. I'm rebuilding my jeep between competitions every week so pulling a t case is not to hard.

Oh yeah, he built it the first time and is working on it now. He is puttin Opies input in and what ever else he has up his sleeve. Just waitin for torque converter to come back from suncoast.

is there a website for ultimate transmissions? my tranny is in the shop right now something broke,should i rebuild or buy one and what kind of shafts and flexplate should i have for about 550hp

He doesnt have a website, but he's a sponser at competitiondiesel.com, from what I hear is pretty much bomb proof, for an auto.
