Just got a great deal on a pair of Sulastic shackles on Ebay.
I may take out the 1/2" lift spacer on the spring pack when I put these on. Anyone done this?

spacers
Well, I got a shop to install the sulastics on the truck today...it took them 2 hours to do because of the rusty bolts that had to come off.
...and wow...DEFINATELY worth the money. It's funny how much of the jarring you lose at the back wheels when going over bumps. It's weird because you hit a bump and you wait for the back wheels to hit, knowing it will be worse...but it's not worse, it's at least 60% better. And going over ruts?...no sideways slip.
I hooked up my utility trailer today too - it was loaded and the total would be about 7000 lbs. Rides just as nice, no funny business.
The truck handles normally too...just sooo much smoother in the back end.
The only "problem" (and I mean it's not really a problem) is that the shackles have raised the back of the truck about 1.5 - 2 inches. So I wonder if I can find a 1.5 or 2" leveling spacer for my front suspension. Now with the Carli starter system, the rear should now be at about a 4" lift. Grrr...might have to get bigger that 35" tires now! Ha!
Next I am going to upgrade my Carli Starter system to the Carli 2.0...it's about a $1300 upgrade in parts, but it's supposed to be all the much better on the streets.

I have a pair of new-unused 2" leveling spacers that I'm not going to use if you're interested.

I added spacers shortly thereafter. But thanks for the offer!
Just got back into the forums...so to answer previous posts:
I've put on over 30,000 miles. Still rides the same as the day I installed.
And I have Carli long-travel air bags with them. No issues there.
As for my next improvement in ride quality....I've been told the King 2.5 shocks are where it's at. I have the Carli starter system and regret not going up a step better. The potholes in Edmonton are terrible!!!

EdmontonCanada,by your user name it looks like you are in Edmonton, Canada? My hometown also. Where did you get your Sulastics installed? I bought a set recently and note in the installation instructions that the truck ride height should be the same after installation. If it is difficult to achieve that I will get them installed at the Sulastic dealer in Grande Prairie Alberta.

Always nice to hear from a fellow Edmontonian.
I got mine online - I think I just went to their website. Saw their ad back in the day in a magazine. I had them installed at Diesel Tech in Edmonton. Another place that's very good is Bert's Auto. They do charge a bit more for aftermarket installation but they're super great there.

Edmonton - did the rear ever level out after a while or did it stay raised up?
I've been himhawing a set of these for a while now, but I don't want to lift my truck at all. Otherwise- I'd probably be buying the Pintop setup from Carli.
