Bosh injectors

Does Bosh make 100hp injectors for our trucks. Got a buddy that says he bought new 100hp injectors from Bosh. He's not happy with them and wants to sell them. Anyone know of these?

Bosch dosen't make upgraded injectors, they only have stock factory injectors. Don't buy them, your friend dosen't even know what he has got.

The Scheids would be bosch tips edm'd/honed to 100hp. The response above is correct, Bosch does not sell "upgraded" tips.

I wonder if he has Bosio tips?

Usually with bigger tips, especially over 75hp ones, you will lose some mileage, so that is to be expected.

If your buddy doesn't even know what he has, I would avoid the deal. Does he even have the correct spray angle for you? Does he know? That is important.

Sorry to hijack, but does F1 change the spray angle to account for performance upgrades when they machine their "blanks"? What about DDP?

The spray angle is determined by the piston style. 03-04 has a different piston bowl than 04.5 and up.

F1, as far as I know, only does blanks for 03-04 and uses stock bosch for 04.5 and up. F1 changes the spray angle by 1*. I would feel better about Don speaking to this though... after all, it is his work and I'd rather the info be accurate. F1 also offers both EDM/finish honed tips and just extrude honed as well. Or at least he used to. The difference is cost due to the labor involved.

DDP simply extrude hones stock tips to the desired flow rate.

Thanks for the info. What I was asking in regards to is I have seen D-Max pistons that have the burnt/melted flower shape on the crown from adding pressure boxes and fueling Modifications. I had a set of DDP 90's for a few years then when they started leaking I got a set of Flux 2s. Since they machine all tips above a certain HP from blanks anyways is it possible that they change the spray angle to account for different parameters and ensure the fuel sprays into the piston bowl? Also I have a 05 HO series.

The 04.5 through 07 model year engine Flux injector will use either a custom nozzle as the Flux the 03-04 engines above or a Stock Bosch nozzle that is heavily modifed with internal and external grinding, EDM machining and mild honing to clean up and smooth the spray holes.
