Well, I finally got around to installing my boost guage. Did a test today, from a stop in tow/haul mode I rolled on the accelerator. Max boost that I saw at around 80mph was 37lbs. Glad I got the 60lb boost guage as you guys have recommended. Question is, how does this boost number compare to stock and to other modded trucks? Sure is a blast, btw.

 

Stock should be around 32psi. IF you pin it in the right gears you should find a few more psi!

i just installed my boost gauge and
im seeing 36 psi right now at WOT

 

Wow... I forgot about this thread. I see 40psi regularly and have tickled 42 one time. It's hard to look at the guage when you're moving like that...

 

I can get 44-45 with the race box

 

i hit 41 psi @ WOT doing about 90MPH

 

40-42 psi with standard 100 hp box

 

is it normal to hit 41psi with just the XZT?

 

On the 05' I believe it's normal and pretty safe. Our turbo, I believe was designed to go to 40psi.

 

The highest I can get (I'm not really trying) is 27psi, the highest my truck has hit was with Stan driving (31psi).
