fixin to purchase and install ISSPRO gauges(boost,EGT,tranny temp). was wondering if a 40psi boost gauge is too much for our stk trks(no programmers/chips)? thanks for the help

That would work. On a stock truck you will see around 20 psi give or take, so you could go with a 35 psi gauge.

On a stock 06 you will hit 28Lbs no problem and with a smarty or other programmer I have seen up to 48 on the stock turbo I suggest going to about 60Lbs on the gauge cause you never know when you might upgrade!

60psi! whoaaaaa, my PSD never saw anything like that. even with a 6 position chip, open air and 4" exhuast. right around 26-28 psi

i have already placed the order. $377.60 complete with everything(boost#40,EGT,tranny temp) i need to install on the Cummins. kit came with the water tight connectors for the "factory" look.

question, are these 2006 Cummins different from the other yr models? i noticed that the edge programmers state specifically "2006". just wondering if this engine is different. thanks for the education

There is a difference between the 06 and 07 5.9l. For instance tst's box works on 06 but not real well on the 07.
