Boost Psi
When running down the highway if I stomp on it I only see 23 psi boost max, is this normal? I am running sw3 and reading boost with edge insight through obdII port is this normal or do I have a problem. Truck seems to run ok

does the edge to boost fooling? if so, the obd2 reading will be lower than actual.
most modules that fool(of course these go to the map sensor) must be hooked up after the monitor module, or the monitor will get the fooled reading.
you could temporarily hook up a mechanical gauge with a boost bolt, and compare readings.

do you have the wastgate disabled on the smarty? if it is then smarty should boost fool until about 45psi before it throws a code (some have seen more and some have seen less). i know when my truck was all stock i would only see about 25psi. it was a different story once i got a boost fooler. it was definately a cheap and worthwile mod. i agree that a mechanical guage would be a good idea.
