Boost/Boost Elbow

I just installed a Juice/Attitude on my truck, sure woke the old girl up! Is the boost reading on the Attitude fooled boost, or actual? Also I haven't installed the boost elbow yet and I'm not sure if I should I can hit 30lbs pretty easily, and even when I towed my 8500lb fiver this week temps never got above 1150°. Now there were no long pulls but there was a few steep ones, I have my probe in the rear half of the collector just above the turbo. Empty on #5 to 90mph all I can hit is 1200°. Will the elbow give me any more power, boost, EGT reductions? Thanks

From what I know, anything above 30PSI on your stock '03 charger may have the opposite effect on EGT's. You'r not gonna get anymore power for sure.

It may reduce your EGTs and help the turbo spool up a bit quicker but Quadzilla said they actually lost power on the dyno while using a boost elbow with their box! I have seen no real difference since I pulled mine off.....

IT WILL SHOW ACTUAL BOOST......i believe your 3rd gens are wastegated to 26 psi....therefore if your hitting 30 on the monitor, the ecm is only seeing 26, as the juice will lower the voltage readings from the map sensor too read 26 psi at WOT.

Finally!!! about 1 year ago I said that with my EZ the boost elbow actually slowed the truck down and no one would agree. It took away from the lower end and did nothing for the mid and upper so I took the elbow back off to get my power back.

Anyone "T" into the waste gate line and run a bleed **** into the cab to adjust the boost on-the-fly??? I use to do this with my old turbo cars and thought about it with the truck, but don't have a boost gauge yet to see what I am getting...
