Are you running a rail pressure gauge? I had an issue with a bad connection in the gauge harness, cleaning it up solved my rail spiking issue.

Well, i finally got home, been trucking all week. I cleared the codes and put a new sensor in and started the truck, ran fine with no rattle. Loaded the smarty and started truck and everything sounds fine. Getting ready to go for a drive. Thanks for everyone's help.

Yeah he was really messing with you guys when he said all he was running was a superchips wasn't he? he'll be running even hotter tomorrow night after we get done installing a few more things tomorrow morning.

was it the rail pressure sensor or the fca that fixed your problem? i have the exact same thing happening right now

I actually think it was the sensor, According to WFO's post. I'll take back what I posted earlier. I remember reading this post. Good research. Maybe you should try the rail sensor. I'd Pm WFO.

Yes it was the rail sensor, put a new one in and issue was gone.
