Blowby, Auto Tranny Shift, Higher RPM
I have noticed that sometimes when the engine is not yet up to temp and I'm accelerating gently to highway speeds, and the RPM are running high and the transmission is ready to shift, sometimes it appears that blue smoke is produced if I let off the accelerator. It is like the truck would do better if I accelerated harder to push it through to the set point of shifting.
My EFI was programmed to shift at higher RPM (3400) due to upgraded springs and stage 1 Hamilton cam.
I have seen the engine code that indicates the transmission sensor is at times having issues - and I do experience missed shifts from time time time.
I just don't understand what this would have to do with seeing blue smoke occasionally in this cold engine situation.
